CSL Engineers LTD was founded in 1967 and has continued to provide high quality, precision machining services for 50 years. The companies core focus on precision components with high tolerance has allowed for more recent expansion into Aerospace; holding a Aerospace AS9100 certificate as well as continued holding of 9001/14001 Quality Assurance.
Our History
Began in 1967
CSL Engineers Limited began in November 1967; at the time with three directors David Gleeson, Harry Kent & Fred Duckworth
Increase Premises 1985
During the latter years, Dave Gleeson became sole owner of D&K. Expanding operations to current premises in Armour Road, in Easter of 1985.
Continued Growth through 1985 to 2000
CSL Engineers LTD continued to grow in capacity & capability - developing CNC availability, whilst still maintaining conventional skills & equipment.
New Leadership - April 2000
In April 2000, Dave Gleeson passed on responsibility of Managing Director to son Terry Gleeson; working for the company since 1983. Dave's greatest wish for D&K to continue to grow in his very capable hands.
Management Development – April 2001 to present
April 2001, Stuart Gleeson, joined D & K as Sales Director. Mechanical Apprentice trained, within the MOD, as a Precision fitter – machinist. Stuart’s role is to continually prospect for new business, moving D & K onto new ventures, customers & projects whilst working closely with valued loyal clients that require our expertise.
